WSAVA Calls for Member Success Stories
The World Small Animal Veterinary Association invites member groups to share stories of successful local projects for possible publication.

The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) is asking its member associations to share their success stories. The WSAVA Communications Team will review submissions. They might share them on the association's website, newsletter, and social media channels.
A call for submissions is on the WSAVA website. The goal is to inspire other member groups. It also aims to exchange ideas and showcase the global veterinary community's impact. The association welcomes stories about initiatives. These should be interesting, useful, or inspiring to others.
Types of Stories Sought
The WSAVA is not looking just for stories about large projects. It emphasizes that small-scale efforts are of interest too. Even modest projects that worked well are wanted if others could learn from them.
The call lists several categories of potential stories. These include educational or training initiatives for veterinary professionals. Successful advocacy or awareness campaigns are also sought. Collaborations with governments, communities, or other organizations are of interest.
Other suitable topics are initiatives supporting veterinary professionals or the wider community. The WSAVA wants to hear about projects addressing companion animal health, welfare, or veterinary public health. Finally, it seeks new approaches or ideas. Other member associations could learn from or adapt these.
Submission and Review Process
Interested associations should complete a short online submission form. The WSAVA Communications Team will then review all entries.
The team will identify opportunities to share selected stories. "We will always share the final version with your association for approval before publication," the source states. The team may edit content. They will adjust for length, style, or clarity while preserving the original meaning.
Not every submission will be published immediately. The WSAVA notes that stories can be considered for future use. This includes newsletters, website content, and social media posts.
Questions and Contact
Unsure if a story is suitable? The WSAVA encourages contact before submitting. Questions or discussion about ideas can be directed to Delfina Cocciardi. She is the WSAVA Marketing and Communications Officer. Her email address is delfina.cocciardi@wsava.org.
The initiative aims to foster a stronger, more connected global network. It does this by highlighting practical successes from within its own membership.
